From the course dashboard, picks “Create an Assessment from sources and existing lessons”. As with a lesson, the bulk of it is the wizard that opens — Choose Materials, then Questions, then Custom Instructions — before the AI drafts the questions.

Written guides

Open-ended question blocks use a pedagogical technique called Leading Feedback. Rather than marking a response simply right or wrong, the engine evaluates the entry against your rubric matrix and generates guided hints that stimulate critical thinking.

Analysis of missing elements. When a student submits an incomplete answer, the AI flags the criteria requirements that were missed while validating whatever work was correct.

Strategic guidance. Instead of revealing answer keys, the system outputs clear cognitive checkpoints - e.g. "You successfully recognized X, but you should expand upon feature Y to fully enhance your response."

The iterative submission loop. An immediate "Try Again" mechanism lets students use the real-time guidance to rephrase, elaborate, and resubmit their work.
