From the course dashboard, picks “Create an Assessment from sources and existing lessons”. As with a lesson, the bulk of it is the wizard that opens — Choose Materials, then Questions, then Custom Instructions — before the AI drafts the questions.

Collage AI has both low-stakes interactive content inside Lessons and high-stakes standalone Assessments. Knowing where data logs, gradebooks, and security boundaries apply is critical to organizing your syllabus.
Create an assessment from the Assessments area. Choose Generate New to have AI build one from your course materials and learning objectives, or Import Existing to upload an exam and have AI extract questions and answers into Collage’s format.
Formative lesson blocks. Question fields nested inside courseware pages act as continuous comprehension checks. Low-stakes spaces designed for active retention, immediate feedback, and repetitive “Try Again” loops.
Assessments. Standalone quizzes or exams that serve as secure performance checkpoints. They isolate students from textbook references, enforce strict timers, and log formal grade outcomes to the tracking sheets.
